Our coastal town of Knysna and Oysters go together like champagne and caviar, sea and sky, summer breezes and cold beers … if you’re more than a little intrigued by oysters, then join us for the ultimate oyster experience on the spectacular Knysna Lagoon. Learn all there is to know about one of the world’s most loved delicacy, taste the difference between wild and cultivated oysters, all whilst cruising the lagoon to the Heads and surrounds. Ask questions, take photo’s, excite your taste buds – all on board our “Oyster Boat” with a small group of guests. The cruise includes complimentary local white wine and oysters for tasting. Extra oysters are available on pre-order to enjoy on the boat.

Cruises depart daily from our Activity Desk at Heads Up Coffee & Co, Thesen Island Harbour Town, Knysna. Please remember your camera, sunblock, sunhat and wind breaker (just in case!) And remember – our boat is perfect for families and children of all ages are welcome.

We did the oyster tour on a Sunday afternoon and had an amazing time. Our skipper, Rory, was not only friendly but also made the experience richer with great conversations about travel and current affairs. We were lucky enough to have the boat all to ourselves, which made the whole outing feel private and extra special. The oysters were wonderfully fresh, the wine was delicious, and the setting was just perfect. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for some relaxing time on the water - Andre
Tres chouette activite. Nous avons decouvert l'histoire de la culture de l'huitre et eu l'occasion de deguster des huitres sauvages et cultivees accompagne d'un bon verre de vin blanc. La croisiere etait tres sympa et les paysages magnifiques. Et cerise sur le gateau nous n'etions que 6 sur le bateau. - Gregory
