River cruise on the Sundays River (1,5 hrs)

Activity Description

Sit back and discover why locals call the Sundays River “Africa’s best kept secret”.

Our standard river cruise is a relaxed 90 minutes on the water from Colchester, just below the southern entrance gate of Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape. Watch the riverbanks drift past, look out for birdlife and enjoy an easy outing with no effort required. The boat used depends on the size of your group, and we cater for 1 to 42 people.

Duration: 1.5 hours. Cruises depart at 10:00, 13:00 and 16:00.

Meeting point: 1 Jetty Street, Colchester, under 30 minutes’ drive from Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha).

Who it suits: families, bird lovers, birthday groups, work functions and bachelor or bachelorette parties.

What to bring: sunscreen, a hat and a camera. We can help arrange return transport or overnight accommodation, and A Taste of Africa Restaurant & Coffee Bar is close by for a meal before or after.
