The art tour includes visits to local art galleries, the Francois Krige and Willie Bester exhibitions at the KWV museum and includes the story of the history of this beautiful town.
The routes are not technical, a low fitness level is adequate as the focus is on fun.
Pax have to be able to ride a standard adult size bicycle. Back pedal break system. No Gears.
Customized tours are available on request. An art class can be arranged with a local artist at an additional cost (depending on their availability)
What a fabulous bike tour! Marchellle is a wonderful guide, full of enthusiasm and so much knowledge of the area. She just radiates happiness and warmth and made the bike tour a wonderful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history of Montagu and it was fascinating to learn about the talented artists from the area and visiting the galleries. We are happy we booked the Art & History Bicycle Tour Montagu with Marchelle! It was one of the highlights of our South Africa Tour. Marchelle has a great energy!
