The art tour includes visits to local art galleries, the Francois Krige exhibition at the KWV museum and a private studio tour of one of Montagu’s resident artists.
The routes are not technical, a low fitness level is adequate as the focus is on fun.
A private picnic can also be arranged. Please contact at least 24 hours in advance to book a picnic. Additional charges apply.
We have a limited amount of children’s bicycles. Please check availability with Flying Feet.
Pax have to be able to ride a standard adult size bicycle. Back pedal break system. No Gears.
Mountain bicycles are available at an extra charge.
Customized tours are available on request
We participated in a historic-and art bicycle tour of Montagu. It included a stop at one local artists house/studio, as well as visits to 3 galleries. Our guide also told us many interesting stories about some of the old historic houses we cycled by. It was one of the highlights of our holiday and is highly recommended to anyone visiting Montagu. - Jan
